Hillary the Hypocrite Part Two - - and Other Issues

I think this stuff that Shawn Hannity is putting out on his show today could turn the tide and do Hillary in for the upcoming primaries against Sanders.  I’ve heard so much other stuff such as that Hillary support has collapsed in New Hampshire against Sanders in New Hampshire, who is surging.  I’ve also heard that in Dallas or somewhere at the airport Hillary only had six people wanting to see her when she got off the plane.  But Hillary doesn’t do impromptu greetings of people.  They have to be pre-screen and carefully staged chats, which she was so proud of last spring as “getting to know the people”.  This is another strike against her.  Then there was that time in Bosnia when Hillary talked about “taking sniper fire and having to run for cover as soon as she got off the plane”.  All of these incidents speak to Hillary’s character.  And I’m not going to forget that stunt she pulled at last Sunday’s debate in saying Sanders was the only one to vote for loosened Wall Street regulation with “no cops on the beat to patrol Wall Street” or whatever.  This was a low-down, highly deceptive sleazy tactic she pulled.  All this stuff I’ve heard about the attacking of Bill Clinton’s female “victims” only reinforces all of the other reasons why I don’t like or trust Hillary.  I’ve spent more of the past 24 years not trusting Hillary than I have trusting her.  Now Hillary is alleging that Bernie Sanders is out spending her in the campaign because (strangely) the Clinton campaign is out of money.  At least that’s what she’s saying.  But when the number one words for her are “liar” and “untrustworthy” it’s difficult to envision any set of circumstances, no matter what apologists like Stephanie Miller say, why anyone would vote for her for President no matter how much experience she’s had.

Now they say that Bernie Sanders has “attacked” Planned Parenthood.   Was it Hillary’s idea to use the word “attacked”?  Apparently it was a Rachael Maddaw interview.  Bernie says that Planned Parenthood is part of the establishment.  It’s been pointed out that groups that endorse Bernie do so by democratic vote of their membership, whereas those groups that endorse Hillary is because the elite leadership of these groups decides to endorse.  But Planned Parenthood as the dream child of Margetet Sanger, has at its very roots Eugenics or population genocide as one of their core beliefs.  Then I listened to Shawn Hannity talk about Hillary Clinton and how she libeled and slandered the women Bill Clinton had affairs with.  Scheduled later in the show were Juanita Broadwick and Cathleen Willy.  Both women are being interviewed right now on the show.  They both knew they wouldn’t be believed.  The fact is- the smear job done by Hillary Clinton was actually worse than the respective sexual assaults.  Hearing all this afresh, I’m not even sure I could vote for Hillary Clinton in November even if the Democratic Party needs my vote.

Today is the sixth anniversary of the dreaded Citizen’s United decision handed down by the Supreme Court in January of 2010.  Keep in mind that the decision was completely improper because it strayed so far from the issues of the original case.  All they were asked to do was this narrow ruling about certain arbitrary time limits for airing a movie about Hillary Clinton.  According to Norman Goldman- - it was a last minute decision of the Supreme Court itself that vastly expanded the paramaters of the case.   Norman says “The Supreme Court by law can ONLY decide issues brought up by the litigants in the specific case before them.   This June the Supreme Court will do another case involving President Obama over-extending his bounds on executive actions.  I don’t know how I’d rule on this one.  I can see both sides.  But if the Court thinks it can get political and sway a whole Presidential campaign- - they might just vote to say the President over-stepped his executive authority- - just to stick it to the democrats.  We know how blatantly political justices such as Clarence Thomas and Justice Scelia are.

Today Norman Goldman advanced a strange argument.  He said that "slow progress that is certain to occur is better than taking risks with the promise of faster progress.  First of all do you think Jack Kennedy or Martin Luther King would subscribe to such a philosophy?  But secondly the American people in 1992 with Bill Clinton and in 2008 with Barock Obama voted for "faster progress".  So what is it that Obama had in 2008 that Bernie Sanders lacks in 2016?  We know both Clinton and Obama took a lurch to the political right the minute they got elected.  We can be pretty sure Bernie Sanders unlike those other two will be true to his word and keep on the Progressive path even after elected.  As to the whole socialism issue we know Obama has been called a socialist since day one.  Barock Hussein Obama also had other strikes against him that Bernie doesn't have.  Bernie has much more political experiance and "maturity" than Obama had when elected.  Obama was called not only an "anti colonialist" and a socialist bordering on communist, he was also accused of being born in Kenya and not being a citizen of the country.  Bernie Sanders was not raised in a medrassa as a child in Indonesia but in fact is Jewish, which used to be a highly sought political bloc vote.  I think I've figured it out why Norman and Stephanie are for Hillary over Sanders.  They don't CARE if we make progress over the next four years or not.  All they care about is keeping their talk shows going and keeping their ratings up.  President Obama's goal was to BECOME President and THAT's ALL.  Once he'd reached that goal little else really mattered.  He had already "won" in his own eyes.  Bernie on the other hand believes in advancing a progressive agenda.  That's what he's fought for his entire life.  Older people like me are growing inpatient with all this incessent foot dragging.  We'd like to see something accomplished before we kick the bucket.  In the past sixteen years we have retrogressed.  Hillary invoked the name of Obama several times during the last Democratic debate.  That's like invoking retrogression and at best stagnation.  Young people have the good sense not to go for all this political caution bullshit to begin with!

I think Governor Snyder of Michigan should be impeached and removed from office.  I've seen videos on the history of the whole Flint Michigan lead in the water case.  Let's just say a hundred thousand people have been impacted and people are suffering symptoms.  If anything this one video under-states the facts.  They are actually worse.  I'm not going to review it all right now.  Some would say that Hillary was smart to bring up this issue in Sunday's debate.  I heard someone else say "Bernie Sanders shouldn't have called for Snyder's removal from office because that's too dramatic and not dealing with the issue at hand" whereas Hillary gave the specific issue of lead in the water lip service, and that's somehow dealing with the problem better.  Snyder is a political dictator and I think the steps he has taken to quash local rights of elected officials is unconstitutional by almost any logic.

Then it was “Breakfast with David Bowie” to commemorate his death.   They even had two quiz’s like they usually do.  There were two songs from the sixties (1965) I could not identify at all, but I don’t think they were that old.  They played “Space Oddity” and “An Occasional Dream” from that album, and ‘The Man Who Sold the World’ from that album, and then “Queen Bitch” and “Pretty Things” from “Hunky Dory”.    They ended up playing a total of five songs from the Ziggy Stardust album if you count “Hang On to Yourself” I heard playing on Joe’s radio.  They played “Panic in Detroit” and “Cracked Actor” from Aladen Sane, and “Diamond Dogs” and later in the dining room “Rebel, Rebel” from that album.  They played the title song from “Young Americans”.  They played “TVC15” and “Wild is the Wind” from Station to Station- - and the latter was the final song they played before noon.  They played “Heroes” and “All The Young Dudes” (in the dining room) and “Ashes To Ashes” from Scarey Monsters.  I had two cups of iced tea in the courtyard.  For lunch we had spiced tomato soup with a patty melt and better pasta salad.  We had a banana for dessert.   There were no doubt other Bowie songs but Joe had the volume too low.
